Let's first focus on news related to China’s space program. The Shenzhou-21 crewed spaceship, atop a Long March-2F carrier rocket, blasted off at 11:44 p.m. on October 31st (Beijing Time) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.
About 10 minutes after the launch, the spaceship separated from the rocket and entered its designated orbit. The 3 astronauts are in good condition, and the launch of the Shenzhou-21 crewed spaceship was a complete success.
The Shenzhou-20 crew opened the hatch at 4:58 a.m. and greeted the new arrivals, according to the China Manned Space Agency. This marks the seventh space get-together in China's aerospace history.
The two crews will carry out an in-orbit rotation. Over the following approximately five days, the six astronauts will work and live together onboard the station to complete planned tasks and hand over work.
