“Shan Hai Jing,” or the "Classic of Mountains and Seas," compiled from China's Warring States period to the early Han Dynasty, is an ancient encyclopedia spanning mythology, geography, history, astronomy, flora and fauna, medicine, religion, and anthropology, with additional insights into ethnology, oceanography, and proto-scientific knowledge. Recently, Amazing Zhulong, the world's first immersive naked-eye 3D art exhibition based on the "Classic of Mountains and Seas", debuted at the China Art Museum in Shanghai. The exhibition employs cutting-edge technology to reinterpret the visual spectacle and profound philosophical symbolism of the legendary creature Zhulong—the Torch Dragon.
