At 11:32 am on November 9th Beijing Time, the Lijian-1 Y9 carrier rocket, operated by CAS Space, a rocket maker owned by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, blasted off from the Dongfeng commercial space innovation pilot zone in Northwest China. It sent the Chutian 2A and 2B technology demonstration satellites smoothly into their planned orbit, marking a complete mission success.
This mission was the 10th flight of the Lijian-1 carrier rocket. As a leading rocket in China's commercial space sector and the preferred choice for launching small to medium-sized satellites, Lijian-1 has repeatedly undertaken national missions and conducted multiple international satellite launches. To date, the rocket has successfully sent 75 satellites into space, with the total payload surpassing 10 tons.
