Around 6:30 a.m. on September 6th, while conducting routine beach cleanups, fishermen on Jinqing Island in Sansha, China’s southernmost city, discovered newly hatched baby sea turtles that were trapped in a roadside drain. The fishermen immediately launched a rescue operation and promptly returned them to the sea.
