To further facilitate international travel, China will extend its unilateral visa-exemption arrangements for more than 40 countries, including France, to December 31st, 2026. In addition, Sweden will be added into the visa-free arrangement from November 10th, 2025 to December 31st, 2026. Under this policy, holders of ordinary passports from these countries may enter China visa-free for business, tourism, family or friend visits, exchanges, or transit. They may stay in China for up to 30 days without a visa.
