On August 15th, the South China Sea Bureau of the Ministry of Natural Resources, in conjunction with marine authorities from Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, and Shenzhen, released the 2024 South China Sea Region Marine Ecological Protection and Restoration Bulletin. The report highlights that between 2018 and 2024, over 300 marine ecological protection and restoration projects were implemented across the South China Sea region.
