Leveraging the Hainan FTP’s "five major ports in four directions" and existing civil aviation transport airports, the 10 second-line customs checkpoints cover all main ports and civil aviation airports connecting the Free Trade Port with other regions on the Chinese mainland. On December 18th this year, when the island-wide special customs operations commences, these checkpoints will activate customs inspection functions for goods, maximizing convenience for eligible enterprises exporting goods via the nearest ports.
