China's Sansha Evacuates and Rescues Injured Filipino Seafarer
At 10:10 pm on July 12th, Beijing Time, the Sansha Maritime Search and Rescue Sub-Center received an alert relayed by the Hainan Provincial Maritime Search and Rescue Center: a Filipino crew member aboard a Hong Kong-registered bulk carrier had suffered a fall, resulting in injuries and drowsiness, requiring urgent medical evacuation. The sub-center immediately activated its emergency response plan and coordinated multiple departments in Sansha to launch rescue operations.
