Yangpu Port Streamlines Procedures to Boost Foreign Vessel Transactions
On July 9th, a former French oil tanker berthed at Hainan's Yangpu Port, completed its vessel transaction and nationality change procedures, and was renamed as the Liberian-flagged tanker SHIRAYUKI. The Yangpu Border Inspection Station implemented a "joint window"clearance model, providing foreign crews with a one-stop customs clearance experience. This efficient process greatly reduced time and directly saved shipowners $120,000 in costs.
