On June 28th, the "Guard the Free Trade Port 2025" comprehensive emergency drill for strong typhoon defense was launched simultaneously in Haikou and Wenchang, Hainan Province. The exercise aims to apply insights from the retrospective analysis of Super Typhoon “Yagi,” systematically assess the effectiveness of the province’s flood control, wind disaster prevention, and emergency response systems, and comprehensively enhance cross-departmental coordination capabilities under extreme weather conditions.
